MUSTAFA BURMAWALA

Mustafa Burmawala

Mustafa Burmawala is an actor, theatre artist, and film director with a strong foundation in performance and cinematic storytelling — trained at the New York Film Academy and under respected theatre mentors.

His work spans Bollywood films, web series, short films, music videos, and live theatre, allowing him to explore diverse characters and narratives across formats. He made his Bollywood debut as the main lead in Machine (2017), directed by his father Abbas Mustan, and has since built a body of work across cinema, television, and the stage.

With a background in method acting and physical training — including MMA, martial arts, and gymnastics — Mustafa brings both intensity and presence to the screen and stage. He focuses on authenticity, emotional depth, and disciplined craft, approaching each character with rigorous preparation and psychological truth.

Currently performing the lead role in Ananyaa, an award-winning Hindi live theatre production touring nationally across India, Mustafa continues to push the boundaries of his craft. He is also the founder of IHACA Vacation Homes in Dubai, balancing cinema and entrepreneurship with creativity, leadership, and long-term vision.
